Software Tester (all genders) - Manual in Remote
Know-how in dealing with modern IT solutions and having fun with digital topics are in demand! You would like to become a part of the Quality Assurance Team and support complex websites and specialist procedures? Would you like to take responsibility for quality assurance in the agile process? Then become part of ]init[ in the role of a Software Tester (all genders) for manual testing in Porto or from anywhere in Portugal. You will provide advice on the test processes, create test cases and take over test execution.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be based in Portugal.
This job is also available in Porto.
What there is to do
- You are responsible for specifying, executing, and performing manual software tests.
- You review and analyze specifications and requirements for testability and create corresponding test scenarios.
- You analyze and document test results.
- You support the creation of test strategies and concepts.
- You work closely with your project team to address technical and functional challenges and optimize existing workflows.
- You are willing to learn and develop skills in API testing and test automation using Cypress and Playwright.
What you bring along
- You have a degree in (business) informatics (mandatory)
- You have 4+ years of professional experience in quality assurance – manual testing complex website projects or specialized applications.
- You are familiar with agile project methodologies.
- You possess technical affinity and strong analytical skills.
- You have an independent, structured, and meticulous way of working, with a strong focus on quality.
- You are communicative and capable of coordinating tasks effectively.
- You are open to new technologies and willing to continuously expand your expertise in test automation and API testing.
- You speak English very well and feel comfortable in English-speaking teams
